WORT Radio Interviews Muttardy: National Infrastructure Bank Can Pay Its Way

Jul 12, 2021

WORT Radio from Madison, WI posts the following, accompanying an taped interview with NIB Coalition macroeconomist Alphecca Muttardy on July 8: "The Biden infrastructure plan falls $2.5 trillion short of what the country needs for the next 10 years to rebuild an infrastructure that has been ignored for the past 60 years: this according to a report of the American Society of Civil Engineers. Alphecca Muttardy from the Coalition for a National Infrastructure Bank talks about how such a bank could finance our infrastructure demands, plus possibly have money remaining to provide grants for low income loans. The proposed bill HR3339 will address these shortcomings in funding infrastructure without deficit spending."
