On December 25, 2022, the following OpEd "Bring new water to the Colorado River, and a national infrastructure bank to finance it," by Don Siefkes and Alphecca Muttardy, was posted in The Desert Sun and Yahoo News.
On November 9, 2022, the day after the U.S. election, the San Francisco Chronicle published a Letter to the Editor, “National Infrastructure Bank could finance rebuild of U.S.” Read text here

The week of October 3, 2022, several Hispanic newspapers published a new NIB OpEd, “’¡Si Se Puede!’ The $5 Trillion National Infrastructure Bank Will Rebuild Puerto Rico,” signed by two dozen national elected officials. The full text of this OpEd, was published Oct 7 in El Aquila.

National Infrastructure Bank Can Pay to Move Water from Louisiana" was carried on the Opinion page of the Albuquerque Journal on October 4, 2022.
On September 16, the Mississippi Free Press and the Starkville Daily News published an Op-Ed issued by the Coalition for a National Infrastructure Bank, ‘‘The Last Will Be First’: National Infrastructure Bank’s Plan for Jackson’s Failed Water System.” The Op-Ed calls for using a National Infrastructure Bank, as proposed in Congressional bill, HR3339, to address the water crisis in Jackson and the overall infrastructure crisis in the state. It is signed by two dozen elected officials from Mississippi and across the country

On September 2, and then September 4 2022 an opinion piece was carried by the Santa Fe New Mexican and then the Albuquerque Journal. The Op-Ed was authored by Sen. Bill Tallman and Rep. Joy Garratt, and focused on the western water crisis and the NIB solution. The statement was endorsed by other elected officials and prominent leaders from New Mexico.

On September 3, 2022 the website CommonDreams.org published an article concerning the NIB. The article was written by the Chairperson of the Public Banking Institute Ellen Brown, and was entitled "How to Green Our Parched Farmlands and Finance Critical Infrastructure".

On January 21 2022, the Bergen Record and NewJersey.com printed an Opinion column by New Jersey Assemblyman Robert Karabinchak.
On the front page in the first issue of the 2022 New Year, Scranton's Times-Tribune highlighted "the bigger bang". That was the reference to the Pennsylvania state legislators who support the $5 trillion, 25 million jobs creating National Infrastructure Bank.
