 The week of October 3, 2022, several Hispanic newspapers published a new NIB OpEd, “’¡Si Se Puede!’ The $5 Trillion National Infrastructure Bank Will Rebuild Puerto Rico,” signed by two dozen national elected officials. The full text of this OpEd, was published Oct 7 in El Aquila.

On September 16, the Mississippi Free Press and the Starkville Daily News published an Op-Ed issued by the Coalition for a National Infrastructure Bank, ‘‘The Last Will Be First’: National Infrastructure Bank’s Plan for Jackson’s Failed Water System.” The Op-Ed calls for using a National Infrastructure Bank, as proposed in Congressional bill, HR3339, to address the water crisis in Jackson and the overall infrastructure crisis in the state. It is signed by two dozen elected officials from Mississippi and across the country

On September 2, and then September 4 2022 an opinion piece was carried by the Santa Fe New Mexican and then the Albuquerque Journal. The Op-Ed was authored by Sen. Bill Tallman and Rep. Joy Garratt, and focused on the western water crisis and the NIB solution. The statement was endorsed by other elected officials and prominent leaders from New Mexico.
