BY COUNCIL PRESIDENT EDWARD DOYLE AND THE BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION TRADES COUNCIL OF WESTCHESTER AND PUTNAM COUNTIES, NY: 

 

WHEREAS, the United States Congress has introduced HR 6422, The National Infrastructure Act of 2020, which creates a $4 trillion National Infrastructure Bank. This bank will create 25 million new jobs in infrastructure only, pay Davis-Bacon wages, mandate Project Labor Agreements and Buy American programs; and,

WHEREAS, at a recent General Membership Meeting of the Building and Construction Trades Council on October 22, 2020, the matter of the work of the Coalition for the National Infrastructure Bank was discussed and it was voted to endorse the National Infrastructure Bank Act of 2020, HR 6422.
