Video Nov 17, “The Next Steps: The American System and the National Infrastructure Bank”

Nov 22, 2022

Public Banking Institute Chair Ellen Brown, Pennsylvania State Representative Eddie Day Pashinski and New Mexico Senator Bill Tallman led a feisty Town Hall Zoom Meeting, “The Next Steps: The American System and the National Infrastructure Bank.” (View here.)

With the election in the rearview mirror, the issue on the table now is how to govern and build the nation. The out-of-control Federal Reserve and its allies are hell-bent on forcing millions of people out of work, in the name of fighting inflation. Congress and the White House are hamstrung by the deeply-indebted budget and have no money to spend on a recovery.

Enter the American System and the National Infrastructure Bank. In similar periods of national economic distress, the American System industrial policy of Alexander Hamilton, Abraham Lincoln, and Franklin Roosevelt lifted the nation out of despair and built an industrial juggernaut second to none. National Banks played crucial roles in making that happen.

All the participants reported on how they are organizing more support for the nonpartisan $5 Trillion National Infrastructure Bank HR3339.

In defining the next steps to be taken, a 6-week mobilization was initiated in order to secure more co-sponsors for HR3339 before the end of the year.

The time for action is upon us. Join the mobilization and invite your friends.
