Gini Ballou is the Western Regional Director of the National Federation of Democratic Women. She also serves as the President of the Idaho Democratic Women’s Caucus. Gini has been a Precinct Captain, county chair and committee woman. She chaired the Planning & Zoning Commission in her hometown of Hailey ID, during the rebuild of the town by well known actors. Born a democrat, service is in her blood.
Gini was born and raised in Westchester NY and attended school in Vermont. Upon graduation, she ventured west for the summer and like many, never left. That was 1978. She has worked in sales and restaurants, often rising to manager and excelling in training and teamwork.
After caring for her mother with Alzheimer’s for seven years, Gini became the Alzheimer’s Association’s Ambassador for Idaho CD 2. She works for the day when those meetings in DC will be with Democrats. Gini and her husband, Jeff, have raised four children and are enjoying their five grandchildren, golfing & partner dancing.
