Assemblyman Felix Ortiz (Democratic Party) was a member of the New York State Assembly, representing District 51, from 1995- January 1, 2021.

    As of the 2015 legislative session, Ortiz served as Assistant Speaker of the Assembly.  Ortiz's political experience includes being a member of the New York City Department of City Planning, a member of the 72nd precinct community council, and a Democratic district leader for the 51st Assembly District.
